The leather upper is stitched to the sole, providing out-of-the-box comfort and flexibility without sacrificing stability and support.
The Trailback incorporates underfoot insulation that serves as a barrier to heat loss between the foot and frozen ground.
The Trailback construction features full grain 2.4 mm hard wearing treated leather upper for complete weather proofing.
The leather upper serves also to impede thorns, brambles and other nasty elements from penetrating the boot upper.
The waterproof membrane blocks moisture from the outside, while allowing moisture inside to evaporate.
Our Goodyear welting provides flexibility in the sole, reduces weight, and offers a cork footbed providing good insulation and comfort.

It’s the fifth anniversary of my boots this year and they have been excellent for dog walking in Clayton walks in Cheshire and light treks around the north wales coast. I have dread feet(bunions) and I found the best sock combination, they are so comfy and sturdy. I bought my usual size. The best socks are your own brand they protect the heel and the calf, as well as looking good. Five years on the socks are perfect, except one pair, which was eaten by my cocker. I have just purchased more socks in the new colours. Well done Trailback your customer service is also exceptional.
I have owned my Trailback Boots for over 5 years. Have worn them literally every day during this time, for walking my dog.
They are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Not only are they comfortable, but also 100 % waterproof and really warm & cosy too. Brilliant grip and the quality of the leather is superb.
They scrub up brilliantly too. I hold my hands up and admit I have not polished them very often in all the time I have had them. When I do, the leather comes up a treat and they look as good as new.
I was also very impressed to learn from Sandy (Customer Service), that Trailback can resole my boots for me as well. Having worn my boots every day for 5 years +, the Vibram sole, not surprisingly, would now benefit from being resoled, giving me many more years of wear from them, which is fantastic.
So, I really cannot recommend these superb quality boots enough.

I’ve had my Trailbacks 3years now and just love them. I was anxious at first as they are an investment but haven’t looked back. I knew I’d done the right thing shortly after my purchase when boarding a regional flight the lady behind on the steps asked if they were Trailbacks and I proudly said yes - she said ‘good decision!’ They take me across fields, along beaches and are still looking good. I recently had to send them back for repair and reheeling - they have been returned in pristine condition and will continue to serve me well for many more miles to come.
